A short update on Peter

7 April 2021

The motion parts have been laid out in their relative positions and red oxide primer applied.

The frames are in the process of being cleaned of old paint. Can you spot the expansion link returned to us by Peter Heather last September?

The springs have been given similar attention.

We managed to get the wheels done before the weather got too cold late last year.

General layout of an idea for a Director's saloon ... actually the chair was being used by the guy working on the buffer beam.
One of the axle boxes is on the floor just to the right.

Update 13 June: the frames are now sporting a coat of bright red paint. Plans are afoot to put the wheels back in and get a rolling chassis though probably not until July. Our hard work is beginning to show dividends.
