Spring Industrial Trains Day
26 April 2015

This event featured the Wickham power car and trailer being used as a complete unit in passenger service for the first time ever at Amberley.

The Wickham pair wait at Brockham for the Amberley train to arrive from Cragside.

A while later and the Wickham set now bound for Amberley have to await arrival of the other passenger train hauled by Peter.

Two views of the v-skip train double headed by our two Hudson Hunslet locos, "Blue Star" and HE3097/1937 piloting.

Later in the day, Peter was moved on to industrial duties and the passenger train taken over by Peldon, at that time still working, and James Smith's Baguley-Drewry, seen here climbing the gradient around the top of the pit.
